The Mobile World Congress is currently going on in Barcelona and our Marketing, Technology/Media, and Entrepreneurship Clubs organized a speaker panel featuring some of the industry leaders in the mobile/tech world. After hearing them talk about the future of mobile in the developed and developing world and some of the new technology that will be in our hands within the next five years, sparked a renewed interest in the current ongoings within the industry. I read engadget,gizmodo, wired and other techie sites but never with much fervor. That may just change now. Anyways, stumbled across a TED presentation by the developer of Bing Maps and had to share it. The integration of user sourced imagery, microsoft imagery and even real time video is really impressive.
